Keep in mind that Vegas Pro 20 is going to be released shortly so you might want to wait for 20 rather than getting 19 right at the moment.

And yes, I was planning on upgrading to 20 when it releases. I am currently on version 18, but came to the website to look at the latest news and updates on the new features as I usually upgrade every other version. That's where I got confused on the subscription vs one time license ordeal.

If you're interested in the special "upgrade to VP 19 and get VP 20 free offer" try and check the product pages. According to the pop-ups that appear there it may still be available for two days. Note the options @Dexcon mentioned.
