larger thumbnails please...

is it just me (and yes, i've put in a product suggestion) or would anyone else like the ability to resize thumbnails in media / explore tabs?

i'm finding it very frustrating having to go between regular explorer and vegas (and the accompanying lag) when having to deal with over 200 very similar pics.

even the option of simply doubling the size of the existing thumbnails would go a long way to solving this problem....

Yes I agree. Vegas needs to take a good look at how Premiere handles media bins and thumbnails as it's much better. So is Final Cut etc.

Even if it were just a Small, Medium, Large (or similar) option.

There should be an easy way to change from thumbnails to other views. I agree thumbnails should come in different sizes. Switching views should be doable with keyboard shortcuts.

Workaround. At least on the "Explorer" tab, you can right click on any clip in a folder and choose, "Explore Current Folder", then set the Thumbnails in Windows Explorer to different sizes including Extra Large. Clips can be dragged right into the timeline or the Project Media Bin from here.

well xberk, that works reasonably well, but it's still a rather inelegant workaround considering nearly all the competition gives you the option for thumbnail size...

again, thanks for pointing it out though....

At least in the Explorer tab you can select a clip, hold down Ctrl and roll your mouse wheel forward. They get a bit larger than default.

robert,
a nice tip and they do get quite a bit larger. Works in some other tabs too. Thanks.

Wow. Thanks Robert. I never knew that. The thumbnails get quite a bit larger and they stay that way even if you switch folders.
