Just wondering if there is a fix for rendering out to MC-AVC looking 'corrupted' is all I can describe it as. It's not regular Macroblocking/compression artifacting, it's glitchy, flickering, garbled-ness, to use technical terms.
Sony's AVC works fine, using the CPU or GPU to render (MC-AVC uses the CPU). The source video is fine and rendering to other codecs is fine.
I would like to use Mainconcept's AVC merely to utilize the customizable VBR settings.
I have tried reinstalling Vegas MS HD 11, reinstalling an older version (that used to work fine), keeping application focus, disabling video filtering via videocard Control Panel and disabling Windows7AeroDesktop; but none of these helped the 'glitchyness'...
Thanks in advance for any other ideas.
Edit: After more testing, even with all those things above 'enabled', 720p rendering works fine, it seems to be 1080p rendering with MC-AVC. Actually, after more testing that works too, there must be some minor setting that if affecting it...
Edit: Well, I don't know what happened, but creating a new Template (editing a premade Sony template) worked. I can even set everything to what I had before - and it renders just fine. Haha, no idea how it got corrupted or anything, but it's over on one post. Thanks anyway
Leaving here as SOLVED in case this approach helps others
