Media on timeline isn't displaying properly

This issue is on Movie Studio 15. I was making something and I don't know what I did but everything on the timeline turned into blocks. They don't show the video or audio on the timeline now, they are just color coordinated squares. I can still make them fade in, add FX, etc... but it is much harder since the boxes are much smaller and don't display the FX icons and others. And it is convenient to see what the video is that you are editing without having to look at the preview window... I am on windows 10 if that matters. I have provided a picture of the issue.

Thanks,

Yuri

First click the Maximize/Restore icon between - and x on the white Title Bar. Then try making your main window temporarily even smaller by dragging the double-headed north-west arrow from the lower right corner until you see the vertical scroll bar appear to the right of the timeline. Then double-click on that vertical scroll bar.

In VEGAS Movie Studios you can see the vertical scroll bar only when there's no empty space below the tracks.

It's because the track heights have been minimised. They need to be expanded back up. It looks like you are using the basic (not Platinum) version so I'm unsure how to do it. But try on your keyboard Ctrl plus `. ` is top left on your keyboard, probably to the left of 1.

Note that some shortcuts with certain special keys may not work with a non-US keyboard. And it does seem that the OP has the basic version.

Also a reference here.
