Move Vegas MS Plat 9 to new laptop with Windows 7?

How do I move my Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0b to my new laptop with Windows 7? I downloaded and installed the latest Vegas Movie Studio Platinum HD demo build 11.0. Do I need to upgrade and if so how do I do that?

I think you can download the VMS Plat 9 from http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/vegasfamily
and use your existing serial number for it.
If you want to upgrade, which you probably want to do anyway, the v11 trial version will prompt you to do so pretty soon.
