Hi,
I am having severe memory problems with MS HD Platinum 11. The project I am working on (a concert movie) has a running time of 2:48 hrs and now has 13 tracks on the timeline, five of which are audio and the rest video, compiled from 14 different sources (mov files mostly, HD most of them). It worked fine until recently, when even rendering a single song caused it to crash and report a memory problem. I am using the build 293 version, as the problems started when I upgraded to build 295. Prior to that everything worked fine and I was able to render a trial version of the whole concert in mp4 quality. Now the memory problem has resurfaced even with the build 293 version. Build 283 raised the amount of RAM the program could use to 4 gigs (I have 8 gigs DDR3, intel i5 3,3 Ghz, win 7,64 bit), so could it really be a memory problem? I tried to search for a similar post but could not really find any.
So I thought about switching over to Vegas Pro 11, which is a 64--bit application. Will that make a difference?
And if it's worth the extra money, will my current Movie Studio 11 projects run in Vegas Pro without anything lost?
Help appreciated
