Movie Studio 13 Platinum keeps crashing for no reason

Hi everyone,

So to explain my problem, I'm editing a video no problem, everything fine, until, I try to switch Auto-ripple on/off, or I want to just minimize the window so I can search for something on my computer, all of a sudden I get a notification telling me that Movie Studio Platinum 13 has stopped working, please leave details of your problem.

Within 30 minutes I've had this problem occur to me about 7 times in a row and it's now getting ridicules.

 

My system specs are;
Windows 10 Professional x64
Nvidia GTX950
Intel Core i7 2.60GHz
16GB RAM

I'm using; Movie Studio Platinum 13 x64

Please could someone help me fix this problem because as a film student I need to have this working properly

I'm having nothing but problems. My PC specs are well above requirements but crashing every 2 minutes. I've tried point 14 and 3 as advised to Kamil-C and still crashing.

 

Any further suggestions?

Which VMS version and build are you using?

What exactly are you doing, or trying to do, when it crashes?
