Movie Studio 13 (Program keeps crashing)

Everytime I try to open Movie Studio 13 it just opens then crashes on me. Please tell me what to do?

Did it work before? If so, what might have changed? (windows update, hardware change, etc?)

I removed the newbluesonyvegasMSPPS13 setup14-140115.exe fileand it started right up and renders videos.

'Search' that 140115.exe on this forum and you'll find that the file was problematic.
It was replaced by http://www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Sony/NewBlueSonyVegasMSPPS13Setup14-140117.exe
This applies of course only to the Suite version.
If the OP has the basic Movie Studio 13, did it work before as DonaldT already asked. If it did, you could try resetting.
