Movie Studio 16 Platinum doesn't show MOV video

rotten77 wrote on 3/17/2019, 4:24 AM

I have problem with MOV files from my SJCAM SJ4000.
On my first PC everything works well, but on my second Movie Studio doesn't show MOV video files (only audio works here). Both PCs runs on Windows 10x64

I have tried all solutions - different versions of Quick Time, reinstalling of Quick Time & Movie Studio...

See what MediaInfo tells us about the properties of that particular MOV file.

Is that second PC online when you use Movie Studio?

rotten77 wrote on 3/17/2019, 10:46 AM

Yes, both are online.

j-v wrote on 3/17/2019, 12:15 PM

I cannot find why the other PC and the prgram have difficulties with it.
I'm not that experienced as @Marco., but I like to prove also that type of file.
Is it possible to share a short file, that gives you troubles, on a cloudservice ?

@rotten77 If I read your thread correctly, you have Movie Studio 16 Platinum installed on two PC's. PC #1 runs your SJCAM SJ4000 source media fine, PC #2 does not. If that is correct, there is a difference in the system #2 from #1 that may be causing this. What are the differences between your systems?
