I have just installed this and cannot display the Transitions, Video FX or Media Generator tabs.I have tried selecting them from the View menu, but does nothing. Am I missing something (I am currently using Movie Studio 14). The attached screenshot shows the default window layout. Help please!

So pressing Alt+7, Alt+8, and Alt+9 do not display those windows or View > Window Layouts > Default Layout?

Can you try if resetting works/helps? The instructions apply to Movie Studio versions as well.

Many thanks for your reply. Yes, that is correct. Alt+7 etc and View>window> have no effect. I have tried resetting as per you suggestion, and also loading default window layout. No change. Could it have anything to do with having V14 & 17 installed at the same time do you think?

I just installed it on a virtual machine, I.E. without V14 installed and it seems fine. I guess it is to do with having t versions installed out once. Makes evaluating the new version a bit tricky thoug.... Not sure what to do.

I have Movie Studio Platinums 10 to 17 all still installed. I don't have that problem.

In that case I'm baffled! I have completely reinstalled it and still have the same problem.

Are you starting in Power User mode?
