'Movie Studio Platinum 17 Stopped Working' Just Purchased

MOVIE STUDIO PLATINUM 17

I just purchased, downloaded, activated, registered, etc. Won't open, says 'Movie Studio Platinum Stopped Working'  

I uninstalled and re-installed a few times, rebooted, etc. i tried to download the updates, not even sure if it downloaded.

I have a brand new Windows 10, 64-bit computer

VERY FRUSTRATING. PLEASE HELP.

Any Suggestions? Thank you!

@shelby-mcintyre VMS will install and work on less (my current specs are way below the recommended and less than yours) but you won't get the best from it and be limited to 1080 HD. So there must be something else VMS doesn't like. Often it's GPU problems. Do you have any GPU in addition to any provided by your Intel CPU?
