Movie Studio Platinum Has Stopped Working

Hello

Why would the program stop working? I can open the program, upload the files to timeline, but then when i go to save or render or make movie, i get an error message saying that Movie Studio Platinum Has Stopped Working.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing, closing program, restarting computer, using different files. Nothing has helped to fix the problem. Thank you.

I have had the same problem since I bought it in May 2020. Tried to take it up with Vegas, but they have given up relying to my support ticket. They still blame it on my setup an my computer. I say it is a bug in their render template, but they do not want to know. I am a software developer in addition to making videos for fun.

Hi there, thank you for your reply. I really really hope that this issue can be resolved for me. The program was working just fine for about a year, and now it still works, all the way up to the point where i try to 'RENDER' or 'Make Movie' and then there is an error message. I just don't know why. I have tried every troubleshoot i can find plus the ones they have suggested so far, and to no avail. I am sorry that your program isn't even working at all. What a disapointment. What can we possibly do. ?

Maybe give more information about version, buildnumer, used hardware with drivernumbers, used sourcefiles, used projectsettings, and so on.

@Augusto-Mattos Have you tried clicking "SUPPORT New" at the top of this page and proceeding from there?
