Moviestudio 16 build 142 black preview screen

Just installed Build 142 and when I use NewblueFx the preview screen goes black until I remove the effect (Cartoonr, spherize etc) Can add simple effects like contrast, seems to be effects that distort the video. Any ideas please?

What is the program saying at Options/Preferences/Video about a used GPU and what is your used GPU and driverversion?

Thanks for response. The problem is not simply black screen, but having tried other effects they simply do not apply to the video event.

The video preference is set to the Nvidia Geforce 1060 with Max Q and the driver on the Geforce is 418.91. Any help appreciated

Just discovered that that the effect is applied to rendered video but is not visible before rendering in preview screen?!?!

Thank you, fixed. I had been clicking on the pull down options and didn't realize that the button itself was a toggle. Cheers!

Install also the newest and best driver for your Nvidia and Vegas, the 431.70 trough this
