Just saw the new version ads and this feature drew my attention. I never tried in 16, but it appears to have been improved in any case. My interest would be in capturing tutorials for MS Word, not Vegas. Will this allow me to do this if I have only one monitor, i.e., minimizing Vegas and having Word full screen? I tried to learn OBS but the learning curve was too steep and I was unable to get clear assistance from the forum. I finally gave it up. (A lot of it was all about podcasts and gaming.) If I could record to Vegas, it would be so much easier to add titles, text inserts, highlights, etc.
