I have used the help request on the MS bar for a long time.

For some reason it now works OK until I have entered a search key word and pressed return or search. At this point it sticks. I have waited for some time to not avail and in the end I have clicked on the red closure cross on the help window. At this point the whole project freezes behind a grey misty screen and the only way out is to end the task on a Ctrl/Alt Del and reload the whole project which hopefully I remembered to save beforehand.
