NeatVideo plugin changes colors when I am trying to reduce the grains

Hi,

I bought a Sony Vegas 17 on Ebay, The seller told me it was a stand alone program and the key is recorded in the CD. I have problem with the NeatVideo Plugin. So, i do not have S/N I can read. I suspect it's a pirated copy. The disc is well printed. It looks like and original, but no box. What do do you think?

If it was sold as "Sony Vegas 17", that alone makes it suspicious. I think you've been scammed. (See also your earlier thread.)

That my friend, is a pirated copy of Vegas Pro...... Plain and simple.

Oh dear @guy-b you have a problem.

  1. You certainly appear to have an illegal pirated, cracked copy of Vegas Pro 17
  2. Your cracked copy is most likely creating a corrupt installation which could be the cause of your NeatVideo problem
  3. I have read that cracked copies can cause corruption of your Windows Registry in relation to anything Vegas. This means that subsequently even genuine legal Vegas versions may have problems installing or working correctly
  4. There is no support on this forum for illegal copies so I'm sorry but your fellow forum members cannot help you further.

In Austria there is a saying: "Who buys cheap - buys (ultimately) expensive".
I still feel for you.

Hi! Do you know any genuine copy of Sony Vegas Pro 17 for sale?

Former user wrote on 10/15/2021, 6:18 PM

There is no such thing as SONY Vegas Pro 17. Magix took over Vegas at version 14. Any Vegas Pro that is advertised as Sony after 14 is probably pirated.

Why not consider purchasing the latest version of Vegas Pro: version 19 instead of 17.

If you have your mind set on Vegas Pro 17 for a specific reason, then have a look at Amazon.com to see if it is available via Amazon in your country. But in $USD, Vegas Pro 17 Edit on Amazon is significantly more expensive than buying Vegas Edit 19 from either MAGIX or Amazon - $399 versus $249 respectively.

But also check the above Vegas Pro web page to make sure that your computer meets the minimum specifications for Vegas Pro 19.

If the Vegas pro 17 was pirated, I am interested to buy Vegas Pro 14. Magic doesn't make the Vegas Pro 17. We can find pirated copies, but I was scammed and called my bank for a refund and wrote to Ebay too

Thank you!!

MAGIX has "made" VEGAS Pros since v.14 (including v.17). The MAGIX online shop at the vegascreativesoftware.com website sells only the latest version, currently #19. You need to find a reliable 3rd party online seller (at least one mentioned above).
