If you are new to Vegas, not just V14, this is a great site with easy to understand videos. The tutorials are using an older version but most is still useful in the current version. http://tale2tell.com/sony-vegas-pro/

Also in set's tutorials list the old SCS training videos are valuable. The links are second from the top in the list. Be sure to strictly follow instructions there how to see them.
