New Blue Crashing Platinum 16

Has anyone figured out how to fix the problem of NewBlue Transitions 5 Ultimate crashing Platinum 16 (build 109)???

I have a brand new Windows 10 - Dell Inspiron15 7000 2in1 that I loaded my previous Platinum 15 onto and it ran fine. I decided to upgrade to VMS Platinum 16 which loaded and also ran fine. After I installed the NewBlue Transitions that came with the upgrade it crashed the Platinum 16 when I tried to use the transitions. The VMS 16 now won't run but keeps crashing after the program opens. Platinum 15 still opens and runs fine and will load NewBlue Transitions but 16 crashes with them.

If I uninstall the NewBlue Platinum 16 runs fine. If I re-install the NewBlue Transitions the problem re-occurs. I've uninstalled the NewBlue and cleaned the registry as one of the posts suggested but it didn't help my situation. I can get by with my Platinum 15 but since I bought the Platinum 16 upgrade I'd like to be able to use it as well.

I refuse to install New Blue anymore while I saw also different problems after their install.|
Sometimes will help to delete all the C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Movie Studio Platinum\16.0 files first or reset the program to its default( that is also doing those things) to start the program of VMS PL with hold Ctrl-shift buttons as a havier tool.

After installing and uninstalling New Blue Transitions multiple times I think I found out the problem with NewBlue Transitions and Platinum 16. If you open Platinum 16 when not connected to the internet NewBlue crashes the program because it can't confirm it is registered. This then causes the Platinum 16 to lock up unless NewBlue is uninstalled and the registry cleared. Just a guess
