@Ruby888 ... go back to the advice that @vkmast provided above. It works (though I left clicked) - and the names of the fonts are clearly displayed there in the folder.

I am sorry for all the questions, how do I use them in my project? When I start 18, how do I select the new fonts for a video? Thanks for helping me.
The fonts folder in VP18 is new - a fonts folder does not appear in VP17. Ergo - they are new. I hope that finalises the issue.
Hi what I am saying is, I want to create a new video, how do I use the "new" fonts in the project? The help section in Vegas was no help at all. I want to use the new fonts in 18 Pro. Thanks. Sorry doing to many things at once here.
@Dexcon I need to right-click a *.otf to be able to left-click for Preview ;)
@Ruby888 several comments above have informed you that you use them in one of the titling options such as Titles & Text.
Yes I understand that, but what are the new ones? In the new titles animations there are a pile of new ones and old ones, but it does not tell U what ones are new. It just display's al of them. All I want to do is use the new fonts in a video, I am using Vegas pro 18 Edit.
They're not listad as "old" or "new" in Titles and Text, the new ones are found on your drive in location pointed by vkmast. You'll have to remember them by name, and open them by hand in Titles and Text. 😉
There is below Text a dropdown menu for fonts. Highlight the old text in the big box and select your poison from menus and buttons above.
Yes I know that, but I have 100 fonts, how do I tell what ones are the "new" ones in Vegas Pro 18? It does not say "new" so I cant tell old fonts from new ones.

Well that sucks. How much harder is it to put the word "new" beside the font so people can tell new from old. Thanks for the help, I really appropriate it.
