NewBlue Titler Por 2.0

RickStewart wrote on 1/16/2016, 7:46 PM
I upgraded from Studio 12 to Studio 13 for the SOLE reason to get the Titlers. After paying & upgrading, I get a message that my GPU does not meet the minimum requirements. I have a Sony VAIO laptop with i7 processor and separate NVIDIA graphics card. Kind of assumed that a Sony Software product would play on a Sony Laptop.

Any suggestions?

If the OP is referring to the NewBlueFX 3D Titling and Video Effects plug-ins that come with MSS 13, he should try this version/build.

If he's referring to the NewBlueFX Titler Pro 2, the minimum system requirements listed at the time were AFAIK these:
Microsoft Windows XP (SP 3 or later),Windows Vista (SP 2 or later), or Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.6.8, 10.7.2 or later

Check in case jetdv will clarify.

Rick, Movie Studio includes TitlerEx - not Titler Pro 2.

Your specs indicate NVIDIA GeForce GT 735M

That is a "Mobile" video card. Mobile cards can work in one of two modes:
1. Full Powered – compatible mode
2. Low Powered – not compatible mode

Therefore, you must make sure that Mobile cards stay in full powered mode when your video editor and Titler is used. Here's a couple of possible ways I have been given by other users:

Number 1:
a. Open Control Panel -> Nvidia control panel (if you don't have one, install nvidia drivers from nvidia.com).
b. 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings - >Program Settings.
c. Select the Titler Standalone EXE and the Vegas EXE from the list or add the programs using the browser.
d. Choose option "High-performance NVIDIA processor", if there is this option.

Number 2:
I went to the NVDIA Settings with the right click from the desktop. Then I selected 3D Settings and the Tab for program settings. There I could select any program (the Titler Standalone EXE and the Vegas EXE) and select it to use automated settings, integrated graphics or NVIDIA processor, so I selected NVIDIA.

Really grateful to you for posting this information about mobile video cards. It's solved my issue with TitlerEX not running. Thank you!
