I keep the QT installed when that issue gone viral many times ago. no problem so far...

I'm afraid your whole issue could be OS related...

Those are unusual issues. I suggest you submit a support request via http://support.magix.com/vegas , including as much detailed information about the problem as you can.

You don’t have a Vegas problem. You have a system problem. If I had that kind of nonsense going on for that long, I would:

1. Save a system image for posterity (because I can).

2. Update system bios and any other hardware maintenance offered by your system mfr.

3. Reinstall Windows.

4. Install all Windows Updates.

5. Reinstall Vegas

6. Save a system image for when you or Microsoft messes it up again.

7. Get on with life. This s#1t ain’t that complicated.
