Same thing for me, the menu has vanished. And I have serious problems of rendering in AVCHD (many freezes). I hope you have kept MS15 on your computer.

I bought version 16 and I do not have 15. Maybe someone has an idea

As usual with vegasem 16 I have a problem. I had a new stabilization option before, and now I have only the old version from version 15. where I have to look for stabilization ver.16 because it was earlier and suddenly disappeared: /

Where are you looking?

@Salah

Thanks.
I could not see the program in which you choose that plugin, with my Pro 16 build 361 it is no problem

If you also use the same program and build, did you already tried to reset the program to its original settings by choosing Ctrl-Shift when starting the program?

Ctrl-Shift did not help. I still have no choice for a new stabilization: /

someone has an idea for this problem?

Something to do with your language version? Maybe ask Support?

fan-boy wrote on 2/17/2019, 2:48 PM

@Salah

I see it in the OFX folder . Not in the Vega folder .

Media Pool right click on Media , then menu choose Media FX , then find OFX folder .

I'm running VP16 361 ... I see both stablizers (old and new) in the Vegas Folder -- as well as the OFX .. I also see in the OPs list some Polish(?) or other language (?) like FX VEGAS Iskrzenie and FX VEGAS Miekki kontrast .. but the OP says both stabilizers were there and now the new one is gone .. ?? Version difference does not account for it disappearing.

The OP said earlier that "Ctrl-Shift did not help". Surely if he also was able to select to " Delete all Cached Application Data and then press Yes", the program should have been restored to Default settings (as when first installed). Note also that "Legacy Stabilizer" is hidden until you "Expose" it in Internal Preferences.

@vkmast

just curious , Ctrl-Shift is sometimes tricky to do . Salah didn't say if they got to the Reset Dialogue Screen . I know , I have pressed Ctrl-Shift , thinking that something should have happened . Nothing . Only later , to realize that a dialogue screen needs to pop up , before getting to the Vegas splash screen . So , when someone says they pressed Ctrl-Shift and nothing happened , then I wonder ,....did they get to the pop up dialogue ? or did Vegas NOT "see" the key press and just launched normally .

I have wondered about that several times myself. You need to be able to follow exactly the resetting FAQ advice (note also the asterisked Note) for the reset to happen. I've tried to emphasize that in my numerous comments relating to this.

If you don't have a Desktop icon then make a shortcut to the programme.exe file and use that. Apparently Ctrl+Shift doesn't work with Windows Tiles or Start Menu items.

That is also mentioned in the asterisked note I referred to. And yes, do use Eric's shortcut advice, I usually do that as well with a new version.
