playback rate for still sequence

Yesterday I was able to import 60 .bmp images as a sample of a large quantity of images made from 8 mm film. I was able to go into event properties and set the playback rate at 0.033 which worked very well. Today the rate has reverted to 0.25 and I am not able to change this for the original sample or for a new set of imported images. I am using a trial of Movie Studiio 14.0. Can you help? Is this because I am using a trial version or do I need to go to the Platinum version? I am puzzled because it worked yesterday. Thanks.

Thanks for this. I will try the upgraded version and see if that works.

In Event Properties 0.25 is the minimum playback rate for VMS. So you need to use the method Cornico has given you to achieve what you want.

Perhaps I'm not understanding as I am still having no success. After adding a still sequence, I got the properties menu as you showed. I then changed the frame rate to 0.033. It reverted to 0.050, and I thought I would try that. I added the clip to the timeline but the only thing that appears in the preview window when I press play is the first image in the sequence, even though the timer shows forward movement and the line is moving to the left. If I look at Properties for the clip in the timeline, it still show 0.250.  Am I missing a step?

Thanks everyone for your help. I was able, with your advice and lots of trial and error, to get this working. I have 30,000 images per large reel of 8mm movies from the 50s and 60s. I found that if I set the frame rate at 18, the movie plays pretty close to what it should be. One of the problems was that I could not preview it for some reason, but once I saved it as a movie, I could see that it had worked.

Thanks again. Now on the the next reels...
