Pricing between US vs EU

So I got information that I can upgrade my Vegas Pro 14 to Vegas Pro 20. I got a promo to upgrade for 60$, but I need to complete my residential address. After that, I got info that "for legal reasons a purchase from the United States is only available for people living in US." OK, I got that, I went to EU site and now price is twice as much!? from 60$ to 120$

Why price inflates twice after going to EU site? Why I, living in EU, see this promotion and why it goes to US page? Should I lie about my address to buy it cheaper or what?

Btw, you most certainly did not get "information that I can upgrade my Sony Vegas 14 to Sony Vegas 20". Versions 14 to 20 all come from MAGIX and Sony has nothing to do with those versions. Please use the correct branding of the software to avoid confusion.

The promotion is not for people in the EU, clearly. So give a US address if you have one.
