Did you ever get to solve your similar issue with build 353?

I've got the same issue opening a project that worked in build 421. The only reason I upgraded is because everytime I rendered portions of the video of this particular project were blank.

I'm looking through the forum for old posts that might have clues on how to fix this. I know it has nothing to do with GPU acceleration, tho.

Turn Enable So4 to FALSE in the Preferences -> Internal menu with "Shift" click.
