Problem with canceling VEGAS Pro 365 subscription

gienek wrote on 1/17/2025, 11:18 AM

I purchased a VEGAS Pro 365 subscription. After some time, due to technical issues, I wanted to cancel the subscription. To do this, I wrote to the seller at the provided email addresses:

  • sales@magix.net
  • kix@magix.net
  • shop@magix.net

My emails reached the recipient as I received read confirmations. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response, and the subscription fee is still being charged.

If I cannot cancel the subscription officially, I will have to block my credit card to get rid of the fraudster who has been charging me for several months despite my requests to cancel the subscription. Has the seller of Vegas Pro turned into a fraudster?

have you checked your spam folder?

As https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/support/service-center/cancel-contract refers to infoservice@magix.net, try asking them (in case you didn't yet). Maybe they have an explanation.

You are not being defrauded !

What exactly where these technical issues you were having? ......And what's the exact date you made this purchase?

I will forward this post to the support team. I do not know if they can resolve this, but they should know who can.

Thank you for the advice. I tried to cancel the subscription using the link you provided. Let's see what comes of it.

Unfortunately, I didn't find any responses in the spam folder. I think if the spam filter had worked, the read receipts would have ended up there too.

I am no longer interested in solving any technical issues. I want to cancel my subscription.

I entered into a contract on September 14, 2024. I sent my first request to cancel the subscription on December 30, 2024. To this day, I have not received any response. I sent my second request to cancel the subscription on January 14, 2025. To this day, I have not received any response. I sent my third request to cancel the subscription on January 17. To this day, I have not received any response. I sent my fourth request to cancel the subscription yesterday via the form provided by vkmast. To this moment, I have not received any response. Just like last time, I entered into a contract which I can terminate after one month. Last time, there was no problem with terminating the contract. This time is different. Magix is silent. Therefore, it seems to me that I have been deceived.

@gienek Have you yet received any information on your cancelation ?

gienek wrote on 1/21/2025, 1:00 PM

I have not received any email with information about the cancellation of my subscription, but such information appeared in the list of my products. I hope that my subscription will end on February 14.
