Well, if he says that, it has a completely different meaning - especially if he is a multi-millionaire.

My - admittedly significantly lower claim - than this youtuber is only that I want to keep the software alive by buying it correctly.
If there are slight indications that this software may not have been purchased, I reserve the right to point it out gently.

Yeah I see what you mean, more likely to have bought cheaply from an auction site etc, where it's advertized as Sony Vegas and didn't even notice the name change, and the other point made. a licencing issue when huge corporation name like Sony is misused

You think very positively - this is very commendable for you - but maybe @JesseJames-JohnsSr can say something about it.
Maybe he also shows us a screenshot from the welcome screen that shows that the software is registered on him, then everything is fine anyway and clear that it was just a slip of the tongue.
