I originally bought sony vegas 18 so my friend could teach me how to edit gaming videos (it was the software he used at the time). I have used sony vegas 18 for a long time and as I upgraded my PC I started making my recordings a bit beefier. Vegas 18 kept crashing (I assumed it was the software version) and I had done all the fixes I could find on YouTube like allocating more RAM, turning the preview way down, etc. After it had crashed so many times I just decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to Vegas pro 21 (this will fix all my problems, right? RIGHT?) Wrong. Same issue, different version. It is strictly the software itself, I have no problem with any other program on my computer. Below I will list my specs and the media settings and properties that I use on my projects. Now is the part while I pray for a fix, but then everyone agrees that there is no fix and that this is why no one can even stomach using Vegas.
