Program installed on new laptop, and hangs at "Creating windows..."

This is a new laptop & a new install of Movie Studio Platinum 16.

The install went ok, and it got past the serial number point.

The start up of the program hangs on "Creating windows..."

No response to e-mail support, no workable response with chat room.
