Project files and Sofwares compatibility

I am currently running Vegas Movie Studio 10 Platinum Suite (Windows 7 64bits) and I am looking going to Platinum Suite 12.
Few questions:

- Are there issues loading project files (.vf) created with Studio 10 to Studio 12?

- What is your advices regarding:
Installing 12 on top of 10?
or
cleaning first 10 and then installing 12?

- in case of cleaning first may I use Windows uninstaller?
or is there a specific procedure to be followed? and where?

- what about the other pieces of software such as: DVDArchitect, AudioStudio...?

Many Thanks

I did the same upgrade and had no issues. Both versions can exist on one pc. The same goes for the other programmes.
Once you opened and saved a project file with version 12, it no longer can be opened with version 10.
Hope this helped.

As Ivan says, you don't need to uninstall previous versions. The versions are separate installations.
I have v10, v11, and v12 32-bit and 64-bit on the same machine and haven't had issues with that.
Remember that when using the 64-bit version of Movie Studio, third-party plug-ins will work only if they are 64-bit plug-ins.

Thanks Ivan and vkmast.
I understand no conflict and I can keep the two release on the same computer... which is what I was "dreaming".

Merci
Have a good day
