I'm attempting to use the ProType Titler. Whenever I drop an Empty preset onto the timeline, there are no control visible below the Preset setting in the Video Media Generators window. I'm running Sony Vegas Pro 10 (64 bit).
Thanks for the article link. I've have a read through the article. My problem is, in the ProType Titler window I don't see any of the controls below Preset: Empty, as shown in figure 1 of the article. I've already uninstalled/re-installed 10.0e but it didn't solve this problem.

Well, as far as I know you won't see any controls -- or very few controls anyway until you place some text. After placing the Empty ProType event on the timeline (and it's edit window is open) try clicking the "+" right above the edit workspace. That should add sample text and some font editing controls. Then as you edit / animate the text more controls will be visable as needed.
Here is a shot in the dark -- if you double-click the top of any window, Vegas magically makes it the right size to display the entire contents. Could it be something silly like that?
I've tried the double click on the window title. Making the window rather large initially, then clicking the title resets the size to something significantly smaller. So this leads me to believe the window size isn't sufficient in size to view the controls. I've place a snapshot of the window on my website - http://users.frii.com/n2mp/SonyProTypeTitler.png. Maybe visually seeing the window might be helpful.

Have you tried one of the presets? Try the one titled "Centered" and if it works, then just use it as a basis for your required title.
I've tried each of the presets. All result with the same problem - no controls. I've placed a screen snapshot of the Video Media Generator window on my website - http://users.frii.com/n2mp/SonyProTypeTitler.png.

Well, you're right. It certainly is blank. I'm not running 10 (I'm using 8), but I assume that for the most part ProType is the same. It does appear that you are having either some sort of installation issue or maybe a video card driver issue...
Hopefully, now that you've posted an image of the isse, someone will offer some additional suggestions.
