Re-download and reactivation after SDD fail

Recently I had my main computer SSD fail. I had saved a backup disk image, however after some effort, we found that the image itself was an image of a pervious mechanical drive which led to registry and other installation issues. The outcome was to rebuild the disk from scratch, which I have now done, with the exception of my registered copy of Vegas Movie Studio. How can I re-download and activate this software?

Go to your Magix account https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/

Under My Products you should find your VMS from where you can download your software. Deactivate any slots that are in use so they are clear for you to activate VMS when you install it.

Thanks Eric. That was what I was expecting, as I have a few other products already, such as Sound Forge. For some reason my product it not listed. I know it was a Sony product at the time. There is the functionality to add missing software, but I just don't have the details no other than the email address it was purchased under.

Cheers

If you bought your program while Sony/SCS owned the software, see if this comment helps.

Thank you! Yes, that worked perfectly! All sorts of old purchases. I wish Adobe was as easy to deal with!!!
