re-encoding

As others have mentioned, if you create a project in VMS 16 and select "Blu-ray with menu", it encodes the video and hands it off to DVDA, which then re-encodes the video. These should not be two separate products but one, with a simplified workflow. Changing one setting shouldn't necessarily require re-encoding, and the process of transferring video from VMA to DVD shouldn't require re-encoding. Thanks!

I created a project in VMS 16 Platinum and used Make Movie > Burn it to a DVD or Blu-ray Disc > Blu-ray Disc with Menus. Then pressed Send to DVD Architect. In DVD Architect I changed File/Project properties, Disc format to Blu-ray Disc. Then proceeding to Make Blu-ray Disc, Prepare I get this Review Message List window:

Clicking Optimize...there I get the Optimize Disc window advising that in Menu Video and Audio Recompress [is] Required, as expected.
