Receiving new posts

Roger Bansemer wrote on 11/13/2023, 7:36 AM

I receive emails when I post a question and subsequent emails when I get responses. I'd like to get emails when others post questions. Is there somewhere to set this up on my end. Thanks

I think Roger is wanting to be informed by email of 'all' posts. @Roger Bansemer is that correct?
I have to say though, that would involve receiving an awful lot of emails.

Hi Jack, You are correct but you're also right in that I probably don't want tons and tons of emails. I just feel a little bad about not responding to other peoples questions for which I might be able to participate in answers.

@Roger Bansemer A bit of effort but instead of "Forum Latest posts" you could click "Forum"/"Go to forum" and "just look for the "bold" ones and that should, generally, give you the threads with new entries" (that you haven't yet clicked) on the sub-forums.

When you log in to the forum, if there is a new comment or topic the title should be a bold text. Titles that were previously read are in a normal font .. until a new comment or topic is added. then the title is in bold text again.
Most discussion groups and forums have a 'mark site as read' (or similar wording), but Magix forums do not.
