This product, movie studio 13, is already registered on an old pc. I now have a new pc and need to renew the registration to that pc, but I am unable too. Please advise
This has worked for several of us, including myself. If at first you do not succeed, try again (and again). You may have missed something. (I did.)
this information is useless. apparently my device id is wrong. No it isnt!
II wasn't useless in my case. I used this information twice successfully.

After entering the serial number in Sony Movie Studio 13's registration/activation window, keep proceeding with that window and it should create and display a computer ID in a new window. I did the procedure about 4 months ago with Sony Vegas Pro 13 and, unfortunately, I can't remember the exact trick to get to the Computer ID window to display - it may have been to keep pressing the Next (or similar) button or to go through the entire registration process again and then keep pressing whatever button it is after the serial number has been entered. Sorry that I can't be more specific about this.
