I have a project with a single video and it's related audio track. I want to render out just the audio track to a wav or mp3 format. Is this possible using VMS Platinum 9.0b?
You must first seperate the audio and video tracks - right click and "clear" the" group" - then select only the audio track and do the
Project/render as/ and select ".wav" and save. This is the VMS 10 way to do it but recall 9 being the same ...

I really don't think this is neccary at all. At the least .. you could just MUTE the video, but .. just choose the audio format you want from the drop down menu and Vegas will IGNORE the video portion and render just the audio
I have not been able to render audio only with this program. The "render as" does nothing; there's no option to continue once you've selected the profile-such as mp3 highest quality. If anyone knows how to do this I'd be very grateful.

Which program are you using? Version, build, basic or platinum?
