Rendering options???

Hello
I just started using Movie Studio Platinum 13.
I have a video ready to go, and when I hit "make movie" and "save to computer" I only have a few limited options. Everything is only 640 resolution, except MPEg-2 which does not render any audio. this is kind of ridiculous. I should have an option that is at least 720 and includes audio. Where is AVI? Is there a way to enable more rendering options?

when i go into the advanced rendering options, nearly everything is about the audio only. the only thing I can see that is for video is "Windows video" and then there are some options for PAL and NTSC. is that all there is?
Thanks,
gary in vermont

You have hundreds of rendering options and custom settings.
They are not to be found with "Make Movie."
Keep looking, or RTM.

Try File / Render As (or wherever they put the Render command in the new versions these days).

Make Movie is so stunted as to be nearly useless. I usually suggest never clicking on it, ever.

"They" put them under "Make Movie > (five format options) > Advanced options..." in Movie Studio Platinum 13, which is what the OP says he has.
No Render As in the File (Project in Studio versions) menu after MSP 12.

True, but not in MSP 13, see above.

True. In MSP 13 make sure you have "Filters Off" in Advanced options Render as window.

Thanks, vkmast, for clarifying.
I actually have MSP 13 installed on a work laptop, just haven't used it for anything big yet.
