Rendering Problem in 9.0

Ruffels wrote on 2/18/2012, 7:12 AM
Hi Folks
I'm using Vegas Pro 9.02 (build 92). I have an Intel Quad i7 950 3.07 Ghz, 12 Gig of Ram, GeForce GTX 480 running Windows 7 64 bit.

A recent video (HD) I have made uses a few sped up clips here and there. When it comes time to render my computer chokes when it gets to the first of those segments. Sometimes I get an error message, sometimes the computer just hangs and sometimes the programme just shutsdown. I've tried adjusting what I think is the rendering speed in the rendering window from 56 to 14. whatever but it still seems to render at the same speed.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem and how to fix it? Would upgrading to 11.0 help?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum, Ruffels.

This is the Movie Studio forum, while many Pro users visit here, it's probably best to post your question over at the Pro forum:

I'm think that with build 92, it's probably Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pro Edition. Maybe.

Ruffels,
You could download and test the trial version of VMS 11 Platinum and see if it does the same.
