Rendu impossible

Hi everyone, I'm doing this post because I've been on the problem for 4/5 hours and I really can't take it anymore. I explain, in fact I do my rendering as usual and I had already had the bug of the rendering which blocked at a precise moment each time and the solution I had found was to put in the video parameters , the ram to 1 and the son of restitution to 1, I also deactivate GPU acceleration and it worked. But then it doesn't work anymore, I first tried to make lots of ram combinations (0 / 1 / 700 / the maximum etc ...), I tried to put the GPU acceleration back on and like that na didn't work I followed tutorials, so I also tried to delete the qt7plug file, restart the pc several times, allocate more ram in the manager, run as administrator, with the crtl + shift + parameter keys video I deactivated something (I don't know which one, sorry), I gathered all the files used in a single file but nothing worked, it always cuts in the same place, almost every time (stops before depending on the number of ram I have). In terms of rendering, it is custom to 4K video 2160/ 59.94 fps / L/H pixel 1000 / max bit 100000000 / average bit 100000000 / NV encoder / reduced latency - high quality / reduced delay, CBR - High quality. At the level of my pc I have 16 G of ram, uen 3070 and a ryzen 7 5000 series. I think I've said everything, I've tried everything I can't take it anymore so if someone can tell me why all of a sudden it doesn't want to work anymore.

There is no "Sony" Vegas Pro 16. Maybe that is your problem. From where did you obtain it?

I don't think so because it's the one I've been using for 3 years and everything was working fine after I recently increased the quality of my videos and that I can't get it to render it's almost 4k so that gives me gives the impression that it is the pc but yet it does not overheat, and it is not repressed in terms of capacity

First you need to restore any plugins you deleted.

I'd reset all the settings to defaults as it looks like you have taken bad advice from the internet (YouTube?) https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/a

Next try Studio driver 522.30 for your NVIDIA card if you have an older driver.

Then try to render using a MagixAVC UHD template. Don't change settings other than resolution or framerate to match what you want. Use default rather than a low latency preset. Use VBR and do not set the maximum and average bitrate to be the same. Use the defaults and if you need to raise the maximum. 100000000 may be too high a bitrate, try the defaults for UHD to start with.

Make sure you have enough space on your c: drive- at least 2x what the final rendered file will be.

@arrete Eric is correct. Sony's last version was 13. Magix purchased version 13 and Magix has released a final version 13 and versions 14 - 20. As he said, the version you indicated does not exist because Sony sold it at version 13. What you really have is VEGAS Pro 16 which was sold by Magix. If you follow the link he posted, it has been requested that people quit using "Sony" on versions that are not "Sony" so people are not confused on the branding

I often wonder whether or not people insistent on using Sony branding with Vegas Pro 14 + is because they've got pirated versions of Vegas Pro because the pirate websites have continued to brand Vegas Pro as being a Sony product. Seven years after the change of ownership, the failure to recognise the brand name change wears thin. Are some people really that ignorant?

No. You should also think that in many it is the force of habit. I bought version 14; 15; 18 and 19 and I still say "Sony" knowing full well that it is a Magix product. I know what I'm talking about because in another time I was a Magix Videodeluxe beta tester and moderator of its Spanish forum. It cannot be generally assumed that anyone who says "Sony" on the forum has the program pirated and I think it should be Magix workers, not forum users, who should defend the brand. Some forum users seem obsessed with it.

@juan_rios from the VEGAS P.O.'s lengthy comment in 2020 in a related discussion on the public forum: "please make an effort to help us avoid the appearance of misusing a brand that isn't ours."

For that purpose a corresponding quote has been included in the Offtopic forum sticky (since 2018) and in the VEGAS Pro forum More Important Posts sticky (since 2020). Unfortunately some new users do not read important posts or do not simply care about the brand as much as VEGAS Creative Software or the VEGAS Team.

We don't generally assume pirating, but we do want to refer to the relevant sticky.

Fine, maybe I'll start saying "I'm using Sonic Foundry VEGAS Pro 20"... After all, Sonic Foundry created Vegas and released the first four versions and I started with version 2 under Sonic Foundry. Who cares that it's been sold multiple times since then...

I don't understand what's so hard about just saying "VEGAS" and a version number. There doesn't need to be any more qualifiers. It's just VEGAS! Plus, it's fewer letters to type...

Very true. But please remember that these are global terms applying to all 'like' products produced from many companies. Many call all vacuum cleaners 'Hoover' even though there are many other companies producing vaccuum cleaners. The difference here on the forum is that Sony branding is not applied to all 'like' products - only to Vegas Pro. As a comparison, we don't get Sony as being applied as an all encompassing brand name for all NLEs. Following the above approach, other NLEs would therefore be named Sony Premiere Pro, Sony daVinci Resolve, Sony Final Cut Pro, etc.

This is an unique problem that applies to Vegas Pro brand naming.

The intended meaning of 'ignorant' is:

lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about a particular thing:

I still say "Sony" knowing full well that it is a Magix product.

So you are aware with the naming convention but persist with mis-naming the product. Weird!

Some forum users seem obsessed with it.

Tough!

I've heard another explanation that "Sony" has more name recognition than "Vegas" or "Magix", so they prefer to say "Sony Vegas" when talking to their friends or leaders about the tools they use.

Otherwise, friends or leaders haven't even heared of the "Magix" or "Vegas".

Fine, maybe I'll start saying "I'm using Sonic Foundry VEGAS Pro 20"..

I had never heard of Sonic Foundry (strange name) until I came here. On the other hand Sony is a household name - cameras, TVs, apart from Vegas software.

Among my consumer video friends I suspect none have heard of Magix. They are mainly Pinnacle users.

Anyway we are getting off topic.
