I go into settings in my vegas movie studio 17 platinum to disable resampling but that option isn't there along with the other options that I see on other people videos in that mid section. How do I activate that section in the video setting section?
Which settings are you referring to?
I suspect the videos you have watched were for Vegas Pro not Vegas Movie Studio and what you are looking for isn't in Movie Studio.
There is no global/project wide setting in Movie Studio for disabling resampling. You need to do it for each individual clip.
You'll find the setting if you right-click an event (clip) on the timeline and choose Switches from the shortcut menu or in Edit menu > Switches.
All along I've been accessing Resampling options by right-clicking an event, then Properties and the options are there. Anything different from the Switches or any other method?
Yes you can get to the options using either Switches or Properties. The options are the same. I'm not aware of any other method in VMS.
