try saving to different disc?

Lyric wrote on 9/11/2016, 9:34 PM

Thanks for responding. It doesn't even give me the option of where to save. As soon as I click save it simply sends the message. I've googled many options. Changing settings in control panel, stating my task manager and ending in hopes of an auto save, ect... Nothing seems to work.

This is an odd fix and runs some risk, but if nothing else works...

Hey thanks! But, Still the same problem. It saved properly after the first time of doing it. I changed my directory to my documents but, after my next set of changes on the project and trying to save, the same messaged appeared. I have been an avid Vegas pro user since Vegas Pro 8 and have experienced numerous problems that were fixable through research but, this is a new problem that Ive never had. Im lost here guys! Ive tried everything you guys have suggested so far.

By any chance have you installed any plugins? Audio? Video?

Lyric wrote on 9/13/2016, 1:06 PM

Old Smoke, No Sir. JJKizak Nothing out of the norm. I was editing fine the day before. Went to re open the project I was working on. It opened fine and as I made my first change to the project, the message started to appear. Silverglove. No new plug ins. I have Red Giant but I've had it for years and havent touched it. Not so much as even an upgrade since I first installed it years ago.

do you have enough space on your harddrive? check your available Hard disk space. Is this only on existing project or with the new project too? try to open another instance of vegas, insert clip for testing and save.

OldSmoke wrote on 9/13/2016, 3:00 PM

You could try and run a chkdsk/f to make sure the drive is ok.

Have you to make a copy of the .veg file with a different name, then open in Vegas and see if you can save it?
