Scaling Issues for some pop up windows

This is happening in both Movie Studio Plat 15 and 16 for me. Whenever adding effects or legacy text to my projects the window to edit them that pops up is always cut in half. I have several photos to show the issue but I'll also list the solutions that were given to me that failed already.

  • Right click on the VEGAS desktop icon. Select Properties in the context menu, then the Compatibility tab. Check the option "Override high DPI scaling behavior". There is a drop down menu that will become active. Select “Application” from the drop down menu. Click apply and OK
  • Set your monitor resolution to a minimum of 1920x1080 (which I already had)
  • I've tried expanding and shrinking the windows, docking the windows, resetting the computer, trouble shooting the app.

So far both of those didn't do anything to help. In fact the first solution messed up my Movie Studio work space I had to switch it back. Here are the images here if any advice could be provided. I have no idea why I'm having these problems now. They didn't happen before. As of right now I can't use my effects or legacy text properly.

Has it always been this way or is it a recent problem?

Have you reset the programme including clearing the cache? This applies to VMS as well as VP - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

Unfortunately I have tried that as well. And this only started a couple of days ago. No matter what I try, whether it's changing the DPI, clearing the cache, or changing my laptop's display settings it still doesn't fix it. I am not sure what other cause there could be for this

If it worked before, you should at least try resetting to default settings. Looks like you may have tried that already but were you able to place a checkmark to clear the cache? (Please read also this thread.)
