Script for clipping from timestamps?

I use OBS to record. I have a plugin that writes a timestamp to a .txt file whenever my assigned key is pressed. Does anyone know enough scripting to write a program that would take the timestamps and then clip (i.e. cut out the space between the timestamps) the recordings, (with roughly 30 seconds before the button is pressed). This would streamline my work process so much and would save me so much time. The timestamps are written in H:MM:SS format t.

Would anyone be kind enough to help/point me in the right direction to write this script as I have no experience with javascript and very little with programming in general.

You're in luck. I just added a new script to my HappyOtter Free Tools Library that will do what you want. Here's a screen grab of the UI.

And a demo can be found here.

And finally, here's the link to where you can download.

AKA the HappyOtter at System 1: Intel i7-8700k with HD 630 graphics plus an Nvidia RTX4070 graphics card. System 2: Intel i7-3770k with HD 4000 graphics plus an AMD RX550 graphics card. System 3: Laptop. Dell Inspiron Plus 16. Intel i7-11800H, Intel Graphics. Current cameras include Panasonic FZ2500, GoPro Hero11 and Hero8 Black plus a myriad of smartPhone, pocket cameras, video cameras and film cameras going back to the original Nikon S.

If it is related to VEGAS software, click your avatar in the upper right corner and then "New: Post". Then proceed as advised there to create a New post (thread).
