I am looking to testing your utility Excalibur with Vegas Pro v13.x with regards to removing gaps between segments on the timeline and am running into a problem: I downloaded the version of the utility for vegas pro v13.x and installed it then started up Vegas Pro. I looked for the utility's tab but found nothing. I also looked under 'extensions' and found nothing.

I did find an entry for Excalibur in the startup menu but the manual for version 8 is all that I find.

Also I found the user forum for your software but could not register to join it.

Can you help me out with these issues as well as the cost to purchase Excalibur? Also when I upgrade to Vegas Pro v15.x, will I have to buy Excalibur again or just downloading the version of Excalibur for Vegas Pro v15.x is good enough?

Thanks. He also sent an e-mail which I answered. Here's some rough information, though:

1. There is a version for 8-12, a version for 13, and a version for 14+. The 8-12 and 13 versions cannot be installed at the same time. However, either of the older versions and the 14+ version can be installed at the same time. In the above case, it sounds like the 8-12 version was installed instead of the 13 version.

2. There is an issue with the website that will not allow new users to be created. I'm not sure why and not exactly sure how to fix the issue.

3. The retail price was $150. However, I no longer have a reseller for the product so am only working on "snail mail". As a result and because of the inconvenience, I'm cutting it to $80. Just send me an e-mail for any purchase questions and I'll reply with the correct information. Montage Magic was $80 and I'll cut it to $40 or both for $100.

But.. when i looked further down your page there is a price box, Doh!🤣 I presume i have to pay for this to work?

I'm wanting to be able to set all the transitions in one track to the same length, Vegas will apply a set transition crossfade when importing clips but once i've cut/edited n moved them around all those transitions are messed up, will Excalibur let me fix all transitions to the same length without having to go to each clip & dragging them over each other to the correct duration?
