who can fix the missing track buttons?? I've read the old posts when it started "Just save with project" that doesn't actually work, and effects buttons etc are all gone 90% of the time and have to readd them even in projects where I had SAVED THEM on.
Old versions NEVER had a problem with this. What is the FIX? What am I missing here?

ha, a newer post I missed, thanks! I will try that. The stupid thing is, I JUST opened vegas15 again (to save a new layout) and it KEPT my buttons on there ---- THIS TIME. Is it RANDOM or something? Should be set once and forget. I shouldnt have to load a saved layout.
For what seems like forever, occasionally Vegas will load with all my display screen settings messed up, so long ago I learned to setup a custom windows layout, as vkmast suggest. Then they started the options with the hamburger in tracks and preview, so using the custom window layout prevailed again, with the exception that Vegas still, on occasion, will load with the windows display all screwed up. So, it is still annoying to me to have to select my custom setting, but at least it sets everything back to my preferred setting in one shot.
