I purchased movie studio 17 platinum from amazon, the activation code provided worked for the main software but gives error code 14 for sound forge and music maker... only one serial number provided... need help please

Bought Vegas 17 today and cannot register it. Says activation code is used by someone else but doesn't show it as being activated in my profile When I posted this in the community I was redirected here. Can someone please contact me to help? Or I will I need a refund!

@MIKE-PIERCE From where did you purchase? If Magix make sure you are using the same email address to register as used for your purchase.

Also if you got your activation code in an email try copying and pasting it instead of typing in.

Hi! I purchased it from the Magix website. I tried both the code in email and in my profile with Magix. But no luck.

@MIKE-PIERCE If the activation code is in your Magix account then it is registered to you correctly. My only thought is that on trying to activate the email address you are inserting on the registration/activation page doesn't match?

As I thought as well, but I'm double checking the submission and the code and email match my account. But it still says it is registered to another user and I can't use or I have the wrong code. I have entered the code multiple times with the same result. I have even try different emails and same result. Thx for your suggestions and tips!!!

I have installed all software then when I get to the end to finish it keep saying the serial number u entered is invalid or may apply to another product an im getting a code 14 but the serial number i entered and the email matches with 2 green checks any body knows whats going on
