[SOLVED] Issue with effects

Hi, so I'm having an issue with vegas (Sony Vegas Pro 15.0) where if I add some effects (for example, Gaussian Blur), it will not show up in the preview window until after I've closed out of the media's video event fx tab. It will also not live-update in the preview window until after the media fx window is closed. I have made sure that split screen view is disabled, yet this issue still persists. I have also tried re-installing vegas, and the issue still is not fixed. I am currently using a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Gaming Laptop with 8gb of ram, an intel-core i5-7300HQ processor, and an NVIDA GTX graphics card. (All i know, please correct me if I misspelled or left something out, I'm not very read-up on computer specs and hardware, sorry)

Reason are the newest Nvidia drivers.
You can use the latest but then you have to start the program by not using the NVidia GPU, but the Intel GPU.
For hardware acceleration and rendering you can in that case still use the Nvidia with the newest drivers.

Thank you very much that has solved the same problem I had as there was no reaction e.g. using the cookie cutter. Have spend lots of hours to find the cause of this problem.

You haven't been the only one. The link in the main FAQ point 32 gives you the list of Known Issues including this one.

Jeez....Thought with each upgrade the program gets better as bugs are eleminated but the list of this known issues are filling a book! Only consolation is that obviously none of all other NLE's are working perfect.
