[Solved] PiP and Crop Plugins . . . Split screen

I am trying to make a split screen (over/under) I am using the pan/crop tool. I change the "Y center" to get a half screen, move it to the top but can't get the image centered in it. In searching, many tutorials recommend the PIP or crop plugin...neither of which I see in movie studio...??? Do I need a different version?

I am a teacher trying to make some instructional videos for my students and am pulling my hair out...and there's not much left...

If by "movie studio" you are referring to VEGAS Movie Studio 17, it's a rather restricted version of VEGAS Movie Studio 17 Platinum and misses many of the more advanced features including the two plugins you mention. I'd suggest you try and seek a refund, instructions here. Instead get the Platinum version, test with the free 30-day trial first.
