Something wrong with the latest Intel drivers after latest download?

When I upgraded the latest drivers for my Intel 630 through the new update option of VPro 18 version ...100.8581 my Intel QSV renderoptions in my installed former Vegas programs were gone. In VPro 18 they were present.
Going back to driverversion ...100.8425 brought them back in all installed VegasPro programs.
Maybe a tip for users who for security stayed for real rendering with VPro 17.

@j-v thanks for the heads-up.

....so, after all, the latest drivers are not ALWAYS a satisfactory solution to ALL issues. That latest Intel 630 driver is a beta as far as I know. I still decided to go with it as Vegas 18 saw it as the latest recommended one.

Just tried 100.8581 . Intel GPU at 85% int VP18; same clip in Edius IGPU at 32%. NLE dependant?

Sys 1 Gig Z-890-UD, i9 285K @ 3.7 Ghz 64gb ram, 250gb SSD system, Plus 2x2Tb m2,  GTX 4060 ti, BMIP4k video out. Vegas 19 & V22(250), Edius 8.3WG and DVResolve19 Studio. Win 11 Pro. Latest graphic drivers.

Sys 2 Laptop 'Clevo' i7 6700K @ 3.0ghz, 16gb ram, 250gb SSd + 2Tb hdd,   nvidia 940 M graphics. VP19, Plus Edius 8WG Win 10 Pro (22H2) Resolve18

Does Edius support hardware decoding of that file type? But yes, there are huge differences in GPU usage for different NLEs.

Edius: Hardware encoder box was available & checked. Taskmanager showed usage.

Encoding is for rendering. What about decoding? Did task manager show decoding usage for the GPU? That's the only way I see Vegas getting high % of GPU use- overall timeline acceleration plus decoding. For encoding with NVENC I've never gotten over 20% GPU usage in Vegas.
