Sony Production Music

Tim Stannard wrote on 11/7/2016, 1:52 AM

Back in April 2014 I puchased the upgrade to Vegas Pro 14 and it was bundled with several things including 25 Sony Production Music tracks. i hav since redeemed two, maybe four, fo these but I now find I cannot redeem the rest.

f I follow the SCS Website link to Content | Production music I see the message: Please note: Production Music titles are no longer available for individual purchase. They are only available with voucher codes included with other applications.

If I follow the link under Purchase | Media and Content, I am directed to the Magix website.

There is no facility to contact SCS support as any link I follow (apart from Catalyst I'm guessing, but this is absolutely nothing to do with that) redirects to the Magix site. But I Sony Production Music has not been sold.

Does anyone know how I can  I redeem my remaining tracks (I received no warning that  had to redeem them by a certain date)

Tim, don't know which bundled Sony PM tracks with Vegas Pro 13 (not 14) you are referring to. Were they selectable extras when you ordered? If you log in to your old SCS account and go to My Account >My Orders>View Order, are you still able to see Your Downloadable Software and possibly Your Downloadable Content there? I'm still able to see e.g. my MSP 13 bundled "50 Production Music Soundtracks" with "Download Attempts Remaining." Maybe with your order it was not the same procedure, but mentioning this just in case.

Thansk vkmast. I'm sure it was the same procedure as you describe.

When I go to My Orders for that order, it ckearly shows 25 Production Music Tracks. However, when I click on View Order, under "Downloadable Content" it shows "100 Blastwave FX Sound Effects" which it woudl appear I downloaded on 26th June 2013 (ie before the order for Vegas Pro 13 upgrade was place).

I'm just hoping someone here might know who I can contact about this.....

I see they were in the SVPSuite13, which seems to be still available from some sources and includes a.o. these extras

Have you checked the thread that contains the post below?

If you get to see your software in Magix Software Center, the extras probably aren't downloadable there though anyway (not yet at least), but surely somebody should know something about this?

Looks like my serial nos etc haven't been transferred yet. As I have no serial number as such for the tracks I can't add them manually.

Tim, you could start by adding your Vegas Pro 13 just to see what comes up. I first meant to wait as well, but it seems that those who opted to wait still are waiting.

Check your e-mail archive. The past serial numbers should be there.

Hi set,

I have my serial numbers for Vegas but the Production Music tracks don't come with any. They are/were downloadable from the Sony Creative Software site via my account there.

Unless I misunderstand you ....

I checked my emails and found my Sound Series Loop Library download code (from SMSSuite 13 order) there. It still worked and it seems to allow downloading a Loops&Samples item from that order.

That may not be the case with Tim's Sony Production Music titles from SVPSuite 13 order?

Tim Stannard wrote on 11/8/2016, 10:24 AM

vkmast, you're a star! No voucher code on the SCS site (indeed, not mentioned in the order details) but my original email contained the voucer code and a link - both being reuired in order for me to access my production music.

I'm happy again! Many thanks.

Excellent, Tim. Glad there was a solution to this.

vkmast, I am having a similar issue as Tim where I still have 20 remaining tracks to be able to download. I have attempted to follow what he did with the original email links and voucher codes. I am brought to the Sony Sound Series: Production Music site, it says I have 20 remaining downloads but I get the same message Tim reported of "Please note: Production Music titles are no longer available for individual purchase. They are only available with voucher codes included with other applications." and if you search available tracks there are 0 results. I have access to the prior tracks I downloaded just not the ability to get my last 20. Any ideas?
